The Myth of Orion
The Greek myth of Orion follows a self-absorbed and overly confident huntsman. Orion and his faithful hunting dog, Sirius, slaughtered countless creatures and vowed to kill every last one. The Goddess of the Earth, Gaia, felt troubled by this. In order to put an end to him, she sent a scorpion to poison Orion. Orion, the Scorpion, and Sirius live amongst the stars now as constellations. This collection is inspired by this myth of hubris with every dress representing a character. Sirius, Orion, The Hare-a representation of the animals killed by Orion's hand-, Gaia, and the Scorpion.
